So, I’m finally coming back to my stop motion animation, A Tale from the Endless Stair,  subject to any random flights of fancy or acts of whimsy.

I’ve been ironing out some of the technical issues I encountered whilst doing the brief trailer I produced a while back.  First off I’ve made a more secure support for the demon puppet .

I’ve basically shortened the support frame I previously had so that I can clamp it to the wooden frame and adjust it as needed.

As mentioned in my previous post, I’ve ditched the set so I’m now going to be animating the film in front of green screen and a partial set.

The website overhaul is continuing which has mostly involved my trying to troubleshoot problems with CSS and PHP code and Javascript elements, most of which I know nothing about(!). Been rather frustrating but I seem to have it all working now.

The challenge now is to update the whole site with the new look and layout in as simple a way as possible. This is somewhat simpler using CSS but as most of the old code is all over the place (I was basically learning HTML as I was originally building the site!), it’s not entirely straight forward.

Still, I’ve been having fun creating some new graphics for the various pages and check out the new Javascript photo browser that pops up when you click on the thumbnails on these pages ;0)

If I can just get it to display the same way in Internet Explorer and Firefox we’ll be laughing!

I began updating my website today as I’ve recently been learning CSS. As I basically learnt HTML from scratch there’s a fair few things out of date or just plain wrong in the coding so it was due an update.

I’ve spent most of today playing with the code but I do at least havea page that displays well in both Firefox and IE(!)

So, after something like seven months, I’ve finally finished the Measure of a Man music video.  I’m fairly happy with it, it’s abit rough around the edges in places, but that’s what happens when you don’t have a budget ;0) Thanks to Tom and Pete for being my willing guinea pigs.

So as mentioned, Tom and Pete came over on saturday to film the last few shots for the music video.

We spent a while attaching the makeup before filming the guys against green screen.

I’m uploading the completed vid to YouTube and will post it once it’s available.

Tom and Pete came over this saturday and filmed the last few bits of the Measure of a Man music video.  I’m just putting the finishing touches to the edit then I guess I’ll post it on You Tube or something.
