It is somewhere in between these worlds that we come to the Endless Stair. With a barren wasteland before us and the staircase stretching to infinity into the heavens, a stooped figure slowly clambers upwards and sets foot on the dusty, rocky floor.
Strange symbols flash in the sky like lightning as the dark figure reaches into a pocket and casts a handful of twisted bones onto the ground. For an instant nothing, then a slight rumble as a crack slowly appears in the rock and snakes its way across the ground......."
