This is an articulated stop motion animation puppet for use in my latest animation endeavour A Tale from the Endless Stair.

The concept was to create a creature with a sinister look but which still had a slightly 'cute' aspect to it. I wanted the sculpt to also look a little unsettling.

This started off as sculpture in super sculpey and was then cast in silicon over a posable metal armature. For more details on the processes involved in creating this puppet go to the tutorials section.
