The beginnings of the mold for the main head section. This mold will be a three piece mold to allow easy access to the interior. The intention is to include a core so that the finished head cast is 'hollow' with a solid interior
upon which posable lip, eyebrow, eyelid and chin wires can be secured.
Once again a fiberglass case is produced.
Silicon is injected.
The final mold is a three piece mold.
A core is created by laying clay on the inside of the mold and pouring in resin which hardens.
This will sit in the center of the mold when the silicon is injected. A fibre glass replica will sit in the middle of the final cast, acting as a solid support for the rubber face. It's basically a skull.
